Join Luke Trammell for Bear Market Boot Camp!   (1) ACKNOWLEDGE – How to start and structure client conversations about being prepared for a bear market (2) PERSPECTIVE – A look back at US History, Media Headlines, and past Presidential Elections and their implications for investors (Theme = Know History, Show History, Speak with Conviction) (3) CONFIDENCE – Proven strategies aimed to provide confidence to investors during market fluctuations (4) OPPORTUNITY – Staying on offense and how the effective use of stories can motivate clients to invest and stay invested today.

 

Participants will learn about US History and the historical correlations of US Presidential Elections to their investments. They will walk away with new and tangible ways to articulate this to clients via stories that are aimed to keep them focused on their long term objectives. We will also revisit the basics of Dollar Cost Averaging and the merits of that tool/strategy during periods of market fluctuations.

 

Luke Trammell is a Senior Vice President and Wholesaler for the Capital Group - American Funds covering Dallas & Fort Worth. Luke currently resides in Dallas, but began his career with American Funds in 2006 in San Antonio, TX. After 2 years in San Antonio, he moved to Indiana and spent 4 years as the wholesaler in Indianapolis and most recently served as the wholesaler in Houston since 2011. He holds his FINRA Series 6, 63, 26 and 24 registrations as well as his Insurance License. Luke earned his degree from the University of Kansas in 2006, graduating as an Academic All-American. In October of 2012, he married his fellow Kansas Jayhawk, Blaire. They have 3 young children, girls Sloane (4) and Emerson (3) and Graham (1).
